The ExxonMobil Spouses Club quilt group has been making quilts for wounded soldiers, and in the past 12 months has made at least 25. The quilts we've made in the last year have been taken directly to Bethesda Naval Hospital where they have been personally presented to soldiers that are in the intensive care unit. To date the quilt group has been paying for all the materials, supplies, and quilting on our own. Each quilt costs a minimum of $100 to make. To replace our funds and to help us to continue making more soldier quilts we will raffle a quilt at the Spouse Club's September luncheon on September 13. Tickets are $1 each or 6/$5. All the money we earn will go towards supporting this project. Thank you for your support!
